Senecio rowleyanus f. variegatus (Pot Size 6cm) Variegated String of Pearls sold by Boma Garden Centre

A trailing succulent with distinctive cream-and-green variegated pearl-shaped leaves, each bead-like foliage element mottled with soft white and green markings. The thin stems cascade gracefully, making this an ideal choice for hanging planters or high shelves where its trailing growth can be fully appreciated.Position in bright indirect light to enhance the variegation, though the plant tolerates partial shade. Water sparingly-allow the soil to dry completely between waterings, typically every 2-3 weeks during the growing season. In winter, reduce watering further. The leaves will slightly wrinkle when thirsty, signalling water is needed.Use well-draining succulent or cactus compost, mixed with additional perlite or pumice for optimal drainage. Keep in a warm, dry environment with low humidity; the plant thrives in temperatures between 70-80°F. Propagation is simple-healthy stem cuttings root readily on moist soil, making it effortless to create new plants.
