Sarcococca hookeriana var. humilis 'Fragrant Valley' (Pot Size 3L) sold by Boma Garden Centre

Sarcococca ‘Fragrant Valley’ is a compact, spreading evergreen shrub with lustrous, dark green, elliptic leaves that form a neat mound. In mid-winter, when the garden is at its quietest, it produces small creamy-white flowers among the foliage — releasing a rich, sweet fragrance that can perfuse a path, doorstep or shady corner. Once flowering fades, the plant may produce glossy black berries, adding further interest. Its modest size and compact habit make it ideal for small gardens, patio containers, woodland borders, or as an under-planting beneath trees and larger shrubs. It pairs beautifully with shade-loving companions such as ferns, hellebores, azaleas, skimmias or camellias, offering evergreen structure and winter scent when many other plants are dormant.
