Rhododendron 'Horizon Monarch' (Pot Size 7.5L) sold by Boma Garden Centre

Rhododendron ‘Horizon Monarch’ is a spectacular hybrid rhododendron known for its large, funnel-shaped flowers that bloom from late spring to early summer. The flowers start as red buds that open into pale yellow blooms with subtle pink tones and a small vivid red flare, creating a stunning visual effect. The shrub’s leathery, dark green leaves provide a lush backdrop, making it a standout addition to any garden. ‘Horizon Monarch’ has a strong, upright growth habit, reaching heights of 1.5 to 2 meters within 10 years, and slightly wider in spread. This makes it an excellent choice for hedging, screening, or as a focal point in garden borders and woodland settings. It is particularly well-suited to areas with dappled shade and requires moist, well-drained acidic soil to thrive
