Polypodium Vulgare (Pot Size 1.5L) Common Polypody sold by Boma Garden Centre

Polypodium Vulgare, or Common Polypody, is a versatile and hardy evergreen fern that brings a touch of elegance and wild charm to any UK garden. Its leathery, deeply cut fronds unfurl in a lush display, thriving in the dappled shade or semi-shade of woodland settings, rock gardens, or shaded borders. This 2-litre pot size plant is particularly suited for creating naturalistic plantings and is excellent for filling spaces under trees where other plants might struggle. The Common Polypody pairs beautifully with other shade-loving plants like Hostas, Blechnum spicant, or Dryopteris species, enhancing the green tapestry with its texture and form. It’s a superb choice for those looking to create an enchanting, maintenance-free garden area that stays green throughout the year.
