This cultivar features pure white tubular flowers that emerge from pale pink-tinged buds, creating a soft two-tone effect. Blooms appear in profusion from May through October on semi-evergreen wiry stems, forming a neat, compact plant around 60cm tall. The plant is excellent for pollinator gardens, attracting bees, butterflies and beneficial insects. Plant in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil of any kind. Once established, your penstemon will be remarkably drought tolerant and requires minimal watering. Cut back the twiggy growth nearly to ground level in spring to encourage bushier growth. In colder areas, apply a dry winter mulch for frost protection.
