Swiss cheese plant (Monstera deliciosa), also called a split-leaf philodendron, is a  beautiful large-leaved climbing plant with aerial roots that give it vertical support but without suckers to pull itself up. That’s why Monstera needs a coir pole to train the plant in an upward direction. Monstera is superb in the living room, office or even in a kitchen. They are of medium size and easy to care for and manage.
