Monstera deliciosa is probably one of the most renowned houseplants to date. This jungle foliage beauty is a great plant for beginners and enthusiasts as although it’s not fool proof care wise, it’s a great ‘gateway plant’ to bigger and trickier species. Being part of the Araceae family (Aroid family), the Swiss Cheese Plant is unfortunately toxic to pets and in some cases can cause a slight rash if the flesh touches our skin.
