Lavandula angustifolia 'Munstead' (Pot Size 14cm) English Lavender sold by Boma Garden Centre
Description
Lavandula angustifolia ‘Munstead’ is a compact English lavender named after Gertrude Jekyll’s garden in Surrey. Its flowers are a softer blue-purple than ‘Hidcote’ and open a little earlier in the season, over neat grey-green foliage that forms a rounded mound of around 45cm.Its smaller size makes it well suited to containers, low edging and smaller gardens, and it is often chosen for planting in rows along a path or drive. Like all English lavenders it is hardy, long-lived and a magnet for bees. The flowers can be cut for the house or dried for their lasting scent.
