Festuca glauca 'Elijah Blue' (Pot Size 2L) Blue Fescue sold by Boma Garden Centre

Festuca glauca ‘Elijah Blue’ is a striking ornamental grass prized for its vivid, intensely ice-blue foliage that keeps its colour all year round. The fine, needle-like leaves form a neat, dome-shaped clump reaching 30-40cm in height and spread, creating a striking architectural accent in any garden or container. In late spring to early summer, thin stems bearing blue-green panicles emerge above the foliage, maturing to golden-brown seed heads that add further seasonal interest. This cool-season grass is extremely low-maintenance and drought-tolerant once established, thriving in full sun and poor to moderately fertile, well-drained soil. It tolerates a wide range of soil types, from chalk to sand, and is hardy in UK zones H5. Divide clumps every three years to maintain vigour.
