Festuca glauca 'Compact Blue' (Pot Size 10.5cm) Blue Fescue sold by Boma Garden Centre

Festuca glauca ‘Compact Blue’ is a fine-textured evergreen ornamental grass forming dense, rounded cushions of silvery-blue foliage that intensifies with sun exposure. Its neat mounding habit makes it invaluable for contemporary planting, gravel gardens and container displays where year-round structure and cool colour are needed.Plant in full sun with sharp drainage; it thrives in poor to moderately fertile, well-drained soil and dislikes winter wet. Once established, it tolerates drought well. In early summer, slender blue-green flower plumes rise briefly above the foliage. Divide clumps every 2-3 years in spring to maintain colour intensity.
