Eucalyptus gunnii 'France Bleu' (Pot Size 7.5L) Cider gum France Bleu sold by Boma Garden Centre

This compact eucalyptus is prized for its striking silver-blue foliage, which is beautifully aromatic. Young leaves are intensely blue-green and ovate; mature foliage becomes sage-green and sickle-shaped, but hard pruning in early spring keeps the plant bushy and maintains the more ornamental juvenile colour. It reaches around 2 metres tall and is fully hardy throughout the UK, making it ideal for borders, mixed plantings or container growing. White flowers appear in autumn and attract bees and other pollinators.Plant in full sun with well-drained soil and shelter from cold winds. Water freely in dry spells but avoid waterlogging. An annual hard prune in early spring keeps the plant compact and encourages dense, brightly coloured young foliage.
