Choisya × dewitteana 'Aztec Gold' (Pot Size 5L) Mexican orange sold by Boma Garden Centre

Choisya × dewitteana ‘Aztec Gold’ is a free-flowering evergreen shrub prized for its aromatic golden foliage and fragrant white flowers. The slender leaflets open bright golden yellow in spring, maturing to soft green as the seasons turn, delivering colour from every angle year-round. Clusters of delicately scented white flowers appear in late spring and again in late summer to autumn, attracting bees and other pollinating insects. This shrub grows steadily to around 1-1.5 metres in height and spread over 5-10 years. Plant in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil, ideally in a sheltered, south, east or west-facing spot. Once established, it is drought tolerant and low maintenance, requiring only light pruning to encourage a second flush of flowers in autumn. The aromatic foliage smells wonderful when brushed or crushed.
