Camellia sasanqua 'White' (Pot Size 15cm) Sasanqua Camellia sold by Boma Garden Centre

Camellia sasanqua ‘White’ is an elegant autumn-flowering evergreen shrub bringing delicate white blooms when many other plants are fading. This classic form produces masses of small, single white flowers from October through early winter, creating a beautiful seasonal display set against glossy, curling green leaves with a compact, twiggy habit.Best grown in acidic, well-drained ericaceous compost, either in containers or in sheltered south-facing garden positions in the UK. Prefers partial shade with protection from cold east winds and early morning sun, which damage delicate frost-sensitive flowers and developing buds. Water consistently during summer when flower buds form, and provide winter protection in severe weather. The plant thrives where soil is moist, fertile, and acid, and will struggle on neutral or alkaline soils.
