Camellia japonica 'Beauty Blush' (Pot Size 19cm) sold by Boma Garden Centre

Camellia ‘Beauty Blush’ is a graceful evergreen shrub that brings early spring charm to UK gardens. It bears slender stems tipped with pointed buds flushed pink, which open into delicate single white flowers edged with a soft pink/red hue.  The glossy foliage, which emerges wine-red on new shoots, offers contrast throughout the year.  Its elegant form and moderate size make it suitable as a specimen plant in a woodland border, a sheltered mixed shrub border, or planted in a large pot for a patio or terrace. It pairs beautifully with other acid-loving companions such as rhododendrons, azaleas, Pieris, heather or shade-tolerant ferns and hostas. Mulch beneath with ericaceous bark to keep roots cool and moist.
