Begonia x 'Silver Jewel' (Pot Size 15cm) sold by Boma Garden Centre

A compact rhizomatous begonia with heart-shaped leaves of metallic silver marked with dark green radiating patterns. The puckered leaf surface adds depth and texture, creating a striking jewel-like appearance. Evergreen foliage is complemented by delicate cream flowers that appear in winter. Grows slowly to just 0.1-0.5 metres, making it ideal for a bright shelf or side table. Thrives in bright, indirect light with consistent humidity of 45-65%. Water when the soil surface feels dry, using well-draining organic-rich compost kept consistently moist but never waterlogged. Avoid wetting the leaves to prevent fungal issues. Keep away from cold drafts and maintain temperatures between 7-35°C. This RHS Award-winner brings lasting jewel-toned foliage to any favourable spot in your home.
