Azalea 'Johanna' (Pot Size 3L) Evergreen Azalea sold by Boma Garden Centre

Azalea ‘Johanna’ is a bold evergreen Japanese azalea producing striking scarlet-red flowers in mid to late spring. Each bloom is open and broadly funnel-shaped, with subtle darker speckling in the throat that deepens the richness of the colour. When in full flower, the plant forms a dense mound of vivid red, creating a strong visual focal point in the garden. The intense blooms contrast beautifully against its small, glossy dark green foliage, which provides tidy year-round structure. Compact and neatly rounded in habit, ‘Johanna’ is particularly well suited to front-of-border planting, raised beds and smaller gardens. It also performs very well in patio containers filled with ericaceous compost, where its saturated colour can be appreciated at close range.Hardy and reliable across most parts of the UK, this variety delivers dramatic spring impact while maintaining evergreen presence throughout the seasons.
