Athyrium niponicum pictum (Pot Size 1L) - Painted Lady Fern sold by Boma Garden Centre

Athyrium niponicum pictum is a visually striking fern with elegant soft foliage and unusual foliage colour. The foliage colour is a mix of mottled white, maroon and dark green, giving the foliage a metallic look and feel. Fern fronts have an upright growth habit, and the light colours stand out and help lift a dark shady corner of the garden.         Plant Athyrium amongst shade-loving white flowering perennials to create a calming, relaxing vibe in the garden.   Planting combinations that work well are with Dicentra spectabilis ‘Alba’, Brunnera ‘Mr Morse’, Galium odoratum
