Anemone hupehensis 'Red Riding Hood' (Pot Size 2L) Japanese Anemone, Windflower sold by Boma Garden Centre

The Japanese Anemone ‘Red Riding Hood’ is a compact cultivar from the Fantasy series, delivering vibrant magenta-pink flowers with golden yellow centres from midsummer through autumn. Its neat, tidy form makes it perfect for containers and borders alike, flowering reliably from July until the first frosts. Dark green, deeply lobed foliage provides a striking backdrop to the succession of blooms.Plant in full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil-it tolerates clay, chalk, and loam equally well. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, requiring only a light cut-back after flowering and protection from excessive winter wetness. The plant is deer-resistant and nectar-rich flowers attract bees and butterflies throughout its long season. Deadheading prolongs the display, while the developing seed heads offer ornamental value in autumn.
