Aeschynanthus 'Green Star' (Pot Size 12cm) Lipstick Plant sold by Boma Garden Centre

Aeschynanthus ‘Green Star’ is a stunning tropical houseplant with cascading stems of glossy green foliage and vibrant red, tubular flowers that resemble lipsticks. The flowers emerge in tight clusters from dark calyxes, creating a dramatic display ideal for hanging baskets or trailing down shelves and windowsills. Bright, indirect light and consistent warmth between 18-24°C are essential for prolific flowering throughout the year. Water when the top inch of soil dries out, keeping the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged; reduce watering in winter. Humidity is important-mist regularly or use a pebble tray to maintain conditions around 60-80%. Feed every 4-6 weeks during spring and summer with half-strength, balanced fertiliser. Pet-safe and undemanding, making it an excellent choice for households with cats or dogs. Ideal for conservatories, bright bathrooms, or any warm indoor space.
