Aechmea primera is a dramatic bromeliad prized for its architectural form and vivid, long-lasting pink flower spike. Rising from a rosette of broad, arching leaves, the flower is actually made up of colourful bracts that hold their colour for months, making this plant as enduring as it is eye-catching.The foliage is silver-green with subtle patterning, giving the plant a contemporary, almost metallic look that works beautifully in modern interiors.
