Acer palmatum 'Orange Dream' (Pot Size 10L) Orange Dream Japanese Maple sold by Boma Garden Centre

This elegant Japanese maple is prized for its stunning seasonal foliage display. In spring, the delicate leaves emerge bright yellow with orange tinges, maturing to lime-green through summer before transforming to brilliant orange-yellow in autumn. The bright green bark provides year-round structure and interest. With an elegant, open habit, it makes an excellent focal point for mixed borders, patios or lawns. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, this cultivar has proven its reliability and garden performance across the UK. Grows steadily to reach 2.5-4m in height and spread over 10-20 years, developing a balanced, shrub-like form.Choose a location with partial shade for the best foliage colour, though it tolerates full sun if kept consistently watered during dry periods. Plant in moist but well-drained, slightly acidic soil with plenty of organic matter. Shelter from cold winds and mulch in autumn for protection and to conserve moisture. Water regularly during dry summers to prevent leaf scorch.
