Vaccinium corymbosum 'Pink Lemonade' (Pot Size 4L) Pink Lemonade Blueberry sold by Boma Garden Centre

Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Pink Lemonade’ is a deciduous blueberry shrub prized for its distinctive pink berries and ornamental appeal. In late spring, clusters of delicate pinkish-white bell-shaped flowers appear, followed by medium-sized berries that ripen from flushed pink-green to deep pink in mid-to-late summer. The flavour is reputed to be twice as sweet as regular blueberries. Small, glossy green leaves turn striking orange-red in autumn, with bare reddish branches adding winter interest.Plant in well-drained, moisture-retentive acidic soil (pH 4.5-5.5) in full sun to partial shade in a sheltered location. Mulch heavily with wood chips or pine bark to retain moisture and maintain soil acidity. Unlike many blueberries, ‘Pink Lemonade’ requires only 300 hours below 45°F to set fruit, making it ideal for milder regions. It is self-fertile, so a single plant will produce abundant fruit.
