Trachycarpus Wagnerianus ( 32cm ) Wagners Fan Palm sold by Boma Garden Centre

Native to Japan and introduced to Europe in 1873 by Albert Wagner.  The foliage is larger when compared to the species Trachycarpus fortunei which is the most commonly planted species in the Uk. Wagnerianus is also fully hardy in the Uk climate but has much larger foliage when compared to Trachycarpus fortunei and is slower growing and has a more compact growth habit.
