Stromanthe ‘Triostar’ more commonly known as Calathea ‘Triostar’ is an incredible foliage plant, with a mix of pink, cream, and green brush-stroked leaves and striking pink stems. Stromanthe and Calatheas are part of the prayer plant family (Marantaceae) and are great plants for areas where light is limited, making them very popular in basement flats, north-facing properties, and inner-city homes. Calatheas are also known to be somewhat particular so are better suited for the more attentive plant owner. Not only is Calathea ‘Triostar’ a stunning example of how beautiful this group of plants are, but it’s a fantastic air purifier as well as being completely child and pet safe.
