Solanum pseudocapsicum 'Thorino' (Pot Size 10.5cm) Jerusalem Cherry sold by Boma Garden Centre

Solanum pseudocapsicum ‘Thorino’, commonly known as Jerusalem Cherry, is a compact evergreen shrub renowned for its ornamental appeal. Throughout the summer, it produces small, white, star-shaped flowers that give way to vibrant orange-red berries in late summer and autumn, persisting into winter. These colourful fruits contrast beautifully with the plant’s glossy, dark green foliage, making ‘Thorino’ a popular choice for indoor decoration during the festive season. Its naturally rounded form and dense branching habit make it suitable for pots and containers, adding a splash of colour to interiors. However, it’s important to note that all parts of the plant, especially the berries, are toxic if ingested and should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
