Senecio rowleyanus (Hanging Pot 14cm) String of pearls sold by Boma Garden Centre

Senecio rowleyanus or String of Pearls is a stunning trailing/ creeping succulent native to Southwest Africa. They need surprisingly more water than you may think, being succulent, as if left completely dry, their tiny pearl-like leaves can start to wither. Make sure they are planted in a very free-draining mix as they can be susceptible to overwatering if drainage is insufficient. String of Pearls is a great plant and very easy to propagate. Snip off a couple of stems and leave them on the soil surface to root- you’ll soon be dripping in pearls!
