Rhododendron 'Orange King' (Pot Size 3L) Orange King Azalea sold by Boma Garden Centre

This evergreen kaempferi hybrid azalea produces funnel-shaped, reddish-orange flowers with subtle darker markings in late spring, creating a striking display. The foliage is small, dark green, and glossy, retained year-round. Growing to about 75cm high and wide, it is compact enough for smaller gardens and containers. The plant is hardy to -15°C, surviving UK winters well. It prefers a north or west-facing position in partial shade with consistently moist, well-drained, acidic soil rich in humus. An RHS Award of Garden Merit holder, it is low-maintenance, requiring minimal pruning and benefiting from deadheading to encourage fuller growth. Perfect for acid garden borders or specimen container planting.
