Pilea peperomioides (Pot Size 8.5cm) Chinese Money Plant sold by Boma Garden Centre

Pilea peperomioides, known as the Chinese Money Plant, is a delightful, easy-to-grow houseplant featuring distinctive round, coin-shaped leaves that radiate from a central stem. Native to Yunnan Province in China, this compact plant brings year-round foliage interest to any indoor space.Position your Pilea in bright, indirect light-an east-, north-, or west-facing windowsill is ideal. Keep it away from direct summer sun, which can scorch the leaves. Water when the top few centimeters of soil dry out, being careful not to overwater, as this causes root rot. The plant tolerates normal household humidity and prefers temperatures between 16-24°C; avoid cold drafts and radiator heat.Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser monthly during spring and summer. In good conditions, Pilea is fast-growing and will quickly produce charming baby plantlets around its base, which can be detached and propagated individually. Repot yearly or when the plant becomes top-heavy. Rotate the pot weekly to encourage even growth. This non-toxic plant is suitable for homes with pets and children.
