Olea europaea (Pot Size 65L) Common Olive sold by Boma Garden Centre

This impressive multistem olive is a sculptural specimen tree with distinctive silvery-green foliage and small, fragrant white flowers appearing in early to midsummer. The multiple stems are trained and plaited to create an elegant, architectural form that adds year-round structure and Mediterranean character to a terrace or sheltered garden.Plant in a sunny, south-facing spot against a warm wall or in the shelter of other plantings. Olive trees demand full sun and well-drained, alkaline soil; they tolerate poor soils well once established and are remarkably drought-tolerant. Water during dry spells when newly planted, but mature trees need little watering. Light spring pruning maintains the sculptural form and removes any crossing or unwanted shoots.
