Sweet basil is an aromatic annual herb prized for its fragrant, bright green leaves and distinctive flavour. Commonly used in Mediterranean and Asian cuisines, it brings fresh, clove-like notes to countless dishes.Grow in a sunny windowsill with moist, well-drained compost. Water regularly to keep soil moist but not waterlogged.
