Nandina domestica 'Obsessed' (Pot Size 10L) Heavenly bamboo sold by Boma Garden Centre

Nandina domestica ‘Obsessed’ is a compact, dense evergreen shrub prized for its dramatic foliage colour changes. Lance-shaped leaflets emerge bright red in spring, mature to dark green through summer, then return to vivid red tones in autumn and winter, holding that intensity through the coldest months.Small white flowers appear on conical panicles in summer. This is an exceptionally easy shrub: once established, it’s drought tolerant and adapts to chalk, clay, loam or sand. It tolerates various soil pH levels and rarely attracts pests.Growth is slow and measured, reaching 0.5-1 metre in both height and spread over 10-20 years, making it ideal for smaller gardens, borders, and foundation plantings where year-round colour is wanted without the space demands of faster-growing shrubs.
