Monstera adonsonii is a fantastic houseplant with its heavily fenestrated foliage and fast-growing habit. This jungle foliage beauty is an excellent plant for beginners and enthusiasts, although it’s not foolproof care wise. It’s a great ‘gateway plant’ to more significant and trickier species. Being part of the Araceae family (Aroid family), it is unfortunately toxic to pets and, in some cases, can cause a slight rash if the flesh touches our skin.
