Hydrangea arborescens ‘Candybelle Bubblegum’ is a compact deciduous shrub bearing large, domed heads of bubblegum-pink flowers on strong, sturdy stems from July to September. The blooms sit above dark green foliage with a bronze hue.Reaching around 80cm tall and wide, it suits both borders and containers. Grow in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soil; unlike mophead hydrangeas, the flower colour is not affected by soil pH.Fully hardy, it flowers on the current season’s growth, so prune hard in early spring.
