Camellia japonica 'Nuccio's Cameo' (Pot Size 15cm) sold by Boma Garden Centre

Camellia japonica ‘Nuccio’s Cameo’ is a refined evergreen shrub celebrated for its elegant, formal-double blooms in soft coral-pink tones, often 10–11 cm across.  These luminous flowers appear from late winter through early spring, offering one of the earliest displays of colour in the garden. Its dark, glossy foliage provides an attractive contrast to the delicate blooms, making it a beautiful focal specimen in a shady or semi-shaded border.  With its dense, upright and compact habit, it suits both as a standalone feature or informal screen.  Pair it with other acid-loving shrubs like rhododendrons, azaleas or camellia sasanquas, and underplant with ferns or heuchera for texture contrast.
