Bergenia 'Bressingham White' (Pot Size 17L) Elephant's ears sold by Boma Garden Centre

Bergenia ‘Bressingham White’ is an outstanding award-winning evergreen perennial that brings year-round interest to borders, ground cover and edging schemes. In early spring, it produces masses of pure white bell-shaped flowers held on upright stems above the foliage. The deep green rounded leaves are evergreen, providing structure and texture throughout the year. In autumn and winter, the foliage gradually develops attractive bronzy tones, adding seasonal colour interest to the garden.Extremely hardy and undemanding, this bergenia thrives in full sun or partial shade and tolerates most soil types, including chalky and clay soils. It prefers moist but well-drained conditions and is notably drought-tolerant once established. Its low, clump-forming habit makes it ideal for the front of borders, as ground cover on difficult sites, or for edging pathways.Bred in 1976 at Bressingham Nurseries in Norfolk, this cultivar holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit and is highly valued by pollinators, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.
