‘Whitewater’ is an unusual variegated mound-forming plant with luscious foliage. Its foliage is cream and rich green and deeply lobed. Upright, elegant flower spikes emerge from the foliage in summer. The large white funnel-shaped flowers have a purple hooded bract.An excellent plant for adding structure, height and foliage interest, and flowers. Acanthus is a low maintenance perennial that is hardy and reliable and a great addition when planted at the back of a mixed planted border. Happiest when planted in partial shade with lots of room to showcase its unique foliage.
